DA has a bad rep but its pretty good i recon. yea man, going in under 2 weeks, pretty fucking stoked actually! they said its gonna be in shanghai doin Bgs for 6 months. thats pretty much all the told me. dont know if you know him but keith rowsells gonna be there to, he left a few days ago.

haha what's the bad rep? I understand there is a mountain of shite to wade through, but once you find a circle of good artists, it works well.

That's cool, shame you aren't going with more people, might get a bit lonely for 6 months, but in Shanghai there is a big expat community you can prob integrate with.

official hours are 9-6, don't let them make you work until 9 if you don't want to!
I used to leave at 6 then take the metro into Shanghai center.

they only work 9-9 cuz they have nothing else to do!

its not so bad nowadays but its generally all the fetishy anime shit. like pregnant(or just blown up like a baloon) women and animals that are some kind of fantastical animal human hybrid object of the artists desires. yea, its not really so bad nowadays but its hard to shake the memorys!

yea that was my first thought but ive got used to the idea and it could of been worse... could of been by myself! im just happy to be going as i pretty much got told that i wasnt going to be, so its a good surprise really.
